Cape Town, a brave portuguese navigator crossed this region of Africa centuries ago after a myth made this place one of the scariest on earth. In "Safe House" you can clearly see the beauty of this town, however this movie was not that beautiful, mainly because of it's messy the messy screenplay... The first act was actually quite interesting, and the idea of a man, whose job and calm life weren't very appealing, watching his environment change because of someone else's business, gives us a nice story to begin with. But the last two acts were dislocated from what would be a good story besides from this point on it starts to be forgettable. Why suddenly kill the poor CIA lady??
You can see that Denzel washington was not him as we know on this film. And Ryan Reynolds, when he proves he can play more than the victim on a movie he will win my respect.
And all that's left to say is...
STARS: ★★
Clue for SPECIAL SATURDAY!
The surprise is actually a review that Bu will be able to deliver first than anyone else. The director of this movie has worked with, Tom Hanks, Emma Watson and even with a Tobey Maguiere. His directing career is really small, but his writing and acting actually surprises everyone. Can you guess who he is??
Let me give you a hint then ;) :
